Vans 1966 Leeds premiere
July 17th, the night before the Vans “Shop Riot” at The Works, Leeds, A Nation Of Shopkeepers are holding a premiere for the Vans Europe DVD “1966″.
Featuring Sections from Kris Vile, Chris Pfanner, Ross McGouran, Madars Apse, Flo Marfaing, Danny Wainwright and the rest of the Vans Euro crew, if you find yourself in town early ahead of the comp, go give this a watch and sink a few beers!

Tech Deck Design and Build 2010 The Park
The Park in Castleford recently won the 2010 Tech Deck “Design and Build” comp, and the winning block design that they submitted was made into a custom built physical object last week.

Vans “Shop Riot” 2010
After the success of last years event in Manchester, Vans “Shop Riot” is set to kick off again next month, this time moving over The Pennines to The Works, Leeds.
All you shop TMs/workers/lurkers/riders need to get your team together ASAP then be sure to head to Leeds on July 18th and do battle with representatives from other retail outlets from across the UK. Each and every shop in the country is invited to attend. Once again, the main prize will be an all expenses paid trip to the European “Shop Riot” finals in Switzerland, with a bunch of other prizes up for grabs from the event co-sponsors, free entry for everybody, and the infamous Vans waffle stand knocking out the sugary goodness all day long.

So here's how it works
Category - 1 : photo's and video's
...
Example : Make a skate vid / documentary , make a sponsor me video ,
skate photography , etc ... get filming & clicking !
1st prize : £100 to spend in store
2nd prize : pair of shoes of your choice
3rd prize : £10 shop voucher
Category - 2 : logo & T-shirt design Example : design / re-design a new shop logo , existing logo , a new
shop t-shirt (which will be made and sold in the store) , shop related
artwork , stickers , grafitti , etc... get creative !
1st prize : pair of shoes and new shop t-shirt
2nd prize : £10 shop voucher and T-shirt
3rd prize : £5 shop voucher and t-shirt
Every entry will win a small prize !
Terms : Entries welcomed in both catergories (1 per person).
Entries must be submitted in store only , and not via email or online.
No age limit applies. closing date : 31-08-10 , there is no rush , so get those cogs grinding and good luck !
